MINIMUM NUMBERS:
Each of our classes have a minimum number of students to be able to proceed.
This is usually 6 for a Handbuilding Workshop and 5 for a Wheel Workshop.
In the event we do not receive the minimum number of bookings required we may need to cancel your class.
In the event this does happen we will endeavour to transfer your booking to another suitable date.
No Refunds will be given.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Adults Workshops are designed for ages 18 years and above.
These are often a Date Night, rare child-free break or long over due catch and as so are better suited for adults only.
We may make an exception for ages 15 to 17 years only if they are also accompanied by a fully paying adult and are capable of behaving in a mature and appropriate manner.

- Kids Workshops run in the School Holidays and are clearly note on the workshop description the age groups for which they are appropriate.
Please ensure you check carefully before booking as the workshop participants must be in the noted age group at the time of the workshop. If they do not meet the age requirements we may not allow them to participate. We do not issue refunds.

- Casual Studio Sessions are only available to ages 18 years and above.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
We ask that you please check your workshop date and time carefully before booking as we do not refund or reschedule bookings, including cancellations for Covid related reasons.

No refunds or credits are issued in the case of non attendance or change of mind.

If you are unable to attend a casual workshop, you are welcome to transfer your booking to another person. Please email us at cathy@pricklypearstudios.com.au to notify us of the change.

If you are unable to attend a multi-date workshop you may transfer the full workshop to another person, but not singular sessions.

ILLNESS:
If a class or workshop participant is sick, they must not attend the class.

If the tutor feels you are ill they may ask you to leave the workshop at any time, as we do not want to risk spreading any sickness to other class attendants of staff.

Similarly if a tutor is sick we will endeavour to arrange for another tutor.
If this is not possible we will reschedule the class and arrange credits for the attendants.
We do not issue a refund.

PUNCTUALITY:
Out of respect for our students, our tutors will always endeavour to start workshops on time.
We ask that you do the same and arrive for your workshop 10 minutes early to allow time to park and find the studio.

We are located at 17B Blinco Street, Fremantle.
Our entrance is around the corner on Amherst Street, through the silver roller doors, and down the corridor to the back of the warehouse.

There is plenty of street parking on Amherst and Knutsford Streets.

Please refrain from parking in the Blinc & Co parking lot on Blinco Street or in front of our neighbours with the black roller doors.

BREAKAGE:
Although the greatest of care is taken with your ceramic works of art, due to the nature of clay we cannot guarantee every piece will survive the firing process.
In the unfortunate event your piece does not survive we are not able to issue a refund or credit.

To ensure the safety of all students and staff we request that you follow the studio safety instructions at all times.
Students are especially not to enter the kiln room at any time please.

PERSONAL INJURY AND LIABILITY:
Please kindly adhere to any safety signage and guidelines from your tutor whilst in the studio.
Prickly Pear Studios and our employees cannot be held liable or responsible for any accidental injury to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions.
Although all due care will be taken at all times, accidents do happen.
Prickly Pear Studios cannot be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to any ceramics, tools or equipment left on premises.

GIFT VOUCHERS:
At Prickly Pear Studios we have Gift Vouchers available in a range of values.

When purchasing the Gift Voucher you will be given two delivery options:
1) Have it emailed to the purchaser, so you can either print and gift it at a later date or forward the email on at a more suitable time,
2) Have it emailed instantly directly to the recipient. Please ensure you check the email address before sending as Prickly Pear Studios cannot be held liable for any losses.

Gift Vouchers do not expire, however we encourage you to use them ASAP as if you loose them we cannot replace them.

Our Gift Vouchers come in an email format only. We do not offer physical cards.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOS:
At Prickly Pear Studios are so proud of all the wonderful creations that come out of our studio, and because of this we love to share pics and videos of the creations and our workshop participants.
You give Prickly Pear Studios unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken of yourself and/or your pottery and belongings whilst on site,
and to use these photographs and videos for the purpose of advertising our classes in all media in perpetuity and without payment to students.

PRICKY PEAR STUDIOS IS A SAFE AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL:
We offer a relaxed environment and welcome all walks of life.
To ensure all our patrons and staff feel comfortable and safe we reserve the right to request anyone not acting in a harmonious manner to leave the premises immediately.
If this should occur we will not be offering any refunds or credits, and may prevent them from booking any future classes.
