Tuesday 11 June - 6pm to 9pm - Pottery Wheel Workshop with Sophia
Come along and learn the art of Wheel Throwing.
In this approximately 3 hour workshop you will be expertly guided by Sophia of @houndceramics one of Perths top ceramicists, through the process of Wheel Throwing.
Suitable for those with no previous experience,
or for Intermediate level and returning students we will challenge you with new ideas and forms, and will help you learn to refine your work.
Included in your workshop fee:
- Keep your 2-3 favourite creations and match them up with your choice of our luxurious studio glazes.
- Our tutor Sophia will then glaze and fire them for you, with a permanent piece of art ready to collect in approximately 4 weeks.
- Light refreshments.
You are required to wear closed toe shoes, and recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, as wheel work can get a bit messy!

Please note we require a minimum of 5 enrolments for this workshop to proceed.
Please note:
All our classes have a minimum number of participants.
If that number is not reached we may cancel the class and you will be notified of any changes via the email address supplied when booking.
In this instance you will be given a credit to book an alternate workshop with Prickly Pear Studios.
No refunds, credits or replacements classes will be issued in the case of non attendance.
If you are unable to attend a workshop, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.
Although the greatest of care is taken with your ceramic works of art, due to the nature of clay we cannot guarantee every piece will survive the firing process.
In the unfortunate event your piece does not survive we are not able to issue a refund or credit.
